Stranger Among Us
Jake plays a little seen, but much talked about Hasidic Jew named
Jacob who cut diamonds in his father's jewelry shop. He was a friend
of the main man, Ariel. The actors must have been midgets because
Jake looked "huge" as in really tall. It was sort of wild to see him with the
whole 9 yards - the curls on the side of his head, the beard, the outfit, etc.
His character gets killed in a robbery and a cop played by Melanie Griffith
is supposed to go undercover to figure out who did it. We learn that Jacob
was a very gentle, kind, helpful soul. Unfortunately, he chose the wrong
person to help; the one who stages the heist and his murder.
The voice was all Jake and his eyes seemed to dance.
