This was my rendition of Dr. Matt from an AG poster.
No, I don't think of him as divine or angelic, the character is definitely tarnished. However, his innate goodness does shine through, so I tried to capture that.

This is an eccentric web site devoted to the talented actor Jake Weber. While many know him as Lt. Hirsch from "U-571" or maybe Dr. Kirk from "Cherry" or, most recently, as Michael from "Dawn of the Dead" or Joe in the NBC series "Medium", it was his sensitive portrayal of the angst-ridden doctor, Matt Crower, in the canceled series "American Gothic", that brought him to my attention.
And, with the start of the new NBC series "Medium" on 1-3-05, hopefully more people will get to see Jake's talents.
This site will attempt to provide information on his prior movie roles, theatre roles, and any other nonsense I can come up with. [and that the web program will support], such as some fan fic. Will even try to keep up with current stuff.
I really like Jake's portrayals of different characters. His performances reflect intelligence, great attention to detail and give complex layers to his characters. Unlike many celebs who are content to merely perform, Jake is a college grad and honed his acting skills at the famed Moscow Arts Theatre [yes, in Russia] and at Juilliard.
According to Production Assistant Craig [check out his AG site in the Links section], Jake's dad was in the British military and the family traveled about, hence Jake's not quite British, British accent.
